Duties and Responsibilities

Dealing with high volume data you will…

• Update Shipping Spreadsheets and scanning documents into systems daily
• Assist Import Co Ordinator with customs clearances and data input onto spreadsheets
• Processing shipping paperwork using MFGPro system, Word and Excel
• Booking shipments with couriers/freight forwarders using online websites/customer portals
• Registering shipments with HM Customs
• Processing Military Shipping release documentation as required
• Invoicing shipments using
• Resolving shipping issues/queries. Liaising with all Departments
• Any other duties as required by the Logistics/Shipping Supervisor

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Minimum of grade C GCSEs in Maths and English
• Someone who is keen to learn and willing to work extra hours as the business requires

Working hours

• Core office hours - 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am – 11.30am Friday
• Saturday working – 4 hours one in four weeks
• Over time – Time and a half paid for over time and weekend working over the 37 hours
