Are you an Assembly Fitter with experience reading technical drawings and a keen eye for quality? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business where you'll play a key role in assembling high-quality products to exact specifications. Working as an Assembly Fitter, you'll be part of a supportive team focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products accurately to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Build a range of products to required quality standards.
- Repair and maintain returned customer equipment when required.
- Clean, prepare and pack completed products for dispatch.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised assembly work area.
- Carry out stock checks and store materials in the correct locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required.
- Report quality, stock or production issues and suggest process improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as an Assembly Fitter or in a similar assembly role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical assembly drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Practical assembly and fitting skills.
- Positive, flexible approach with good teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly and accurately.
- Good organisational skills and a conscientious work ethic.
- Reasonable level of physical fitness.
Hours
- Monday 7.30am – 4pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7.30am – 5pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30
Company bonus when permanent.
