Bricklayer’s Labourer / Labourer, Hambledon - PO7, Temporary to Perm – 12 x weeks, Start: ASAP, £17.50ph

Are you a strong and reliable Bricklayer’s Labourer with experience mixing sand and cement, assisting trades, and working on busy construction sites? A well-established local building company is looking for a hardworking labourer to support bricklayers across sites in Hambledon, Chichester, Portsmouth, Waterlooville, and surrounding areas.

This Bricklayer’s Labourer role offers long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be working with experienced tradespeople on a variety of building projects, carrying out all aspects of general labouring and site support. A company van will be provided, so a clean driving licence is essential, you will need to get the yard first of all in Clanfield each morning, living in the Waterlooville area is essential.

The successful Bricklayer’s Labourer must be physically fit, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team while maintaining high site standards and health & safety awareness, experience with mixing sand and cement is essential.

Duties

• Mix sand and cement for bricklayers
• Carry and move bricks and building materials
• Assist bricklayers and other trades on site
• Load and unload deliveries
• Maintain site set-up and organisation
• Carry out site clearance and general housekeeping
• Lift and shift materials safely around site
• Support general labouring duties as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous Bricklayer’s Labourer or construction labouring experience
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Full clean driving licence – essential
• CSCS card preferred
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Must provide 2 satisfactory references
