My client is a well-established firm looking for an experienced Family Paralegal to their office in Cambridge. This role is ideal for a candidate with previous experience in Private Family Law, supporting solicitors on a broad range of matters including divorce, financial settlements, and children-related cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing day-to-day support to fee earners within the Family department.
• Meeting clients face-to-face and communicating with them via telephone and email.
• Preparing and updating court and trial bundles.
• Drafting and preparing a range of legal documents.
• Preparing standard client correspondence using firm templates.
• Managing your own diary, appointments and daily workflow.
• Carrying out general file administration and maintaining accurate records.
• Liaising with clients, barristers, courts and other third parties by telephone, email and in person.

The successful candidate will:

• A minimum of 1–2 years' experience working within Family Law is essential.
• Previous experience handling Private Family matters.
• Experience using a legal case management system.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, digital dictation software and case management systems.
• Excellent organisational, communication and client care skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a busy legal environment.

What's on Offer:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (full-time office-based).
• Salary: £25,000–£27,000, depending on experience.
• 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
