Experienced Plumbers Required – South Hampshire (12-Week Contract)
We are currently recruiting experienced Plumbers to work on a social housing contract across the South Hampshire area, Portsmouth, Southampton, and surrounding for a 12-week period. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, reliable plumbers who take pride in delivering high-quality work and maintaining professional standards on occupied and void properties, must have excellent customer service, a good work ethic, clean driving license, you will be using your own van and tools, fuel is supplemented 35p per mile.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for full kitchen and bathroom plumbing, 1st /2nd along with all aspects or plumbing, including reactive plumbing repairs. The role requires a strong all-rounder who can confidently complete works from start to finish, must live within the Southampton or Portsmouth area.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1st fix plumbing (pipework installation, hot/cold feeds, waste systems)
- 2nd fix plumbing (sanitaryware fitting, taps, showers, appliances)
- Bathroom and kitchen plumbing installations
- Reactive plumbing maintenance and repairs
- Leak detection and fault finding
- Pipe repairs, replacements, and rerouting
- Radiator installations, valve changes, and heating pipework
- Cylinder, tank, and water heater connections (where applicable)
- Drainage and waste pipe installation/repairs
- Tap, toilet, basin, bath, and shower replacements
- Sealing, finishing, and making good after plumbing works
- Wall and floor tiling associated with plumbing installations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plumber
- Proven experience within all sectors of Plumbing
- Ability to complete full installations independently
- Own tools and van (essential)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Hard-working, reliable and presentable
- Social housing experience advantageous (but not essential)
- Must be able to provide 2 recent references
- Must live in the Portsmouth / Southampton area
- Re-active repairs in all aspects of Plumbing
