A well-established manufacturing company is currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sheet metal professional to work in a modern, well-organised environment with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As a Press Brake Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brakes, carrying out all sheet metal folding activities, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently and to a high standard. You will work closely with management and supervision teams to maintain quality, improve processes, and support a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set, program, and operate CNC press brakes
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Produce components to specification, quality standards, and required quantities
  • Ensure production deadlines are achieved efficiently
  • Maintain high quality standards in line with company procedures
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies at all times
  • Identify and report inefficiencies, time overruns, or quality issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Assist with training and development of team members where required

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Press Brake Setter / Operator
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
