Job Description

Hours - Hybrid working (office and site based, typically 2–3 days in the office).

4-day working week 7.30am – 4.30pm (Monday–Thursday, with occasional Friday mornings during school holidays).

About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to join a growing, supportive team delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects from planning through to completion while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with internal teams, clients, and delivery partners, you’ll help drive operational excellence and maintain exceptional service throughout the full project lifecycle.

The Role

  • Review project designs and prepare pre-construction documentation.
  • Attend pre-start meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate contracts to ensure obligations and requirements are clearly understood before project commencement.
  • Coordinate with supply chain partners to confirm labour and material lead times.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and delivery programmes.
  • Plan resources effectively to support successful delivery.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor financial performance and support commercial objectives.
  • Track project progress and prepare applications and claim schedules.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure work meets required standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, engineers, site teams, and internal departments.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with required standards, policies, and safety practices.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Project Management role.
  • Experience working in site-based environments.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Desirable

  • Strong technical understanding within a regulated or standards-driven environment.
  • Experience working with compliance frameworks and industry standards.
