Job Description

Our client is an international company with offices in Australia, Europe and Asia. They are looking to develop and grow their business in the UIK and are looking for an experienced Sales/Account Manager to start and manage a UK based team. This role is a remote role and is therefore open to all locations in the UK.

In this role you will be –

  • Shape, form, and implement an effective sales strategy for the UK
  • Recruit, train and lead a team of 6-10 employees over time
  • Grow the business sustainably by building successful, long-term client relationships
  • Drive strong volume growth, while protecting service levels, product quality and profit margins
  • Work closely together with internal stakeholders and ensure effective feedback of market insights
  • Generate new business
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

Experience required for this role –

  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant sales experience in home decoration materials or home improvement products in a position of comparable scope in an international business environment is essential.
  • Proven success in managing several large customer relationships is a ‘must have’.
  • Experience in leading and empowering sales teams and direct reports
  • Energetic and driven professional; self-starter with a pro-active, hands-on attitude
  • Delivery of training to customers (product, design, ordering, configuration)
