Job Description

Our client based in Wimborne is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Operative/Driver. This is a varied position combining warehouse operations, stock control and local delivery work. You will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately, dispatched efficiently, and delivered professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Preparing goods for dispatch
  • Managing goods in and goods out
  • Supporting annual stock taking

Logistics & Deliveries

  • Carrying out local deliveries within local area
  • Completing delivery documentation accurately

Equipment & Maintenance

  • Basic maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklift, ladders, roller shutters)
  • Supporting fleet maintenance checks

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • Full UK driving licence (required)
  • Willingness to learn forklift operation (training provided)
  • Comfortable with manual handling
  • Good English (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Reliable, organised and proactive

Desirable

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience
  • Forklift experience (not essential)
